The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is hosting two informative events on July 21. The first, a webinar titled “ID and Management of Common Aquatic Vegetation,” will run from 6-7:30 p.m., with a cost of $35 and advanced registration required at tx.ag/AquaticPlants. This webinar provides participants with one integrated pest management continuing education unit for pesticide applicators in Texas and covers the identification and management of common algae and aquatic plants. The second event, “Market Bound: Cottage Food Laws,” is a two-day series on July 21 and 28 in Waco, costing $25 per person with both in-person and virtual attendance options. This series is designed to equip producers with the knowledge of regulations required for selling cottage food products at Texas farmers' markets and private sales. Registration for the series must be completed by July 17 via the AgriLife Extension office in McLennan County.
