San Pedro Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) & E-Waste Collection Event

Join us for the no-cost Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Electronic Waste (E-Waste) Collection Events hosted by LA County and the City of Long Beach. On Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, drop off your hazardous household items and old electronics at the Gaffey Street S.A.F.E. Center located at 1400 N. Gaffey Street, San Pedro, CA 90731. Additionally, on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, you can also participate at the EDCO Recycling & Transfer Center at 2755 California Ave., Signal Hill, CA 90755.

Please ensure all materials are placed in an unlocked trunk; participants are strongly encouraged to remain in their vehicles. Note that used tires are accepted at Signal Hill but not at the San Pedro location. To stay updated on any holiday closures, visit longbeach.gov/lbrecycles.
