Ferrum Park Bicycle Rodeo & Chalk the Park!

Looking for a fun (and free!) way to spend a great summer afternoon with the family making memories?
Join us Saturday, July 18th, from 3–6 PM at Ferrum Park for not one, but TWO fantastic and fun family-friendly activities!
BICYCLE RODEO
Kids can test their skills on a fun obstacle course and get a special prize when they complete it. Helmets are required, so be sure to bring yours!
CHALK THE PARK
Help us turn the park road into a colorful community art gallery. Bring your own chalk or use chalk we'll have available on site. Whether you're an artist or just want to doodle, everyone is welcome to join in.

BONUS - MAKE AN IMPACT:
BICYCLE SWAP
Have a bike your child has outgrown? Bring it with you and swap with another family! It's a great way to pass along bikes that still have plenty of life left in them and help another child get a set of wheels that fit them just right!
**The Bike Swap will be located at the market location, just adjacent to the parking area.
PACK THE PORCH
We'll also be hosting Pack the Porch, collecting personal care items for the Ferrum Care Closet. If you're able, consider bringing donations such as toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, soap, feminine hygiene products, and other personal care essentials to help local families in need.
**Care Closet donations can also be brought to the market location.
GRUB FOR GOOD
Food and dinner options will be available as a fundraiser supporting the Ferrum Park project, so come hungry and grab some grub while supporting a great community project.
