June 10-Poetic Petals
Turn the classic origami fortune teller into a poetic flower! Teens will be able to use the poetic words on the petals of these flowers to bloom inspiration for their poetry.
June 13-Fossil Printing II: Cyanotype
Join us in the RPLF Teen Zone to make fossil themed art with various art techniques! For our second event in the series, we will introduce the art form of cyanotype printing using plants. Each technique in the series will symbolize the imprints that dinosaurs and other ancient critters left behind in sediment.
June 17- Stone Stories
Explore the world of ancient rock art! Learn about some of some of the of the earliest forms of writing and what they were trying to communicate. You will be able to try your hand at making some of your very own petroglyph rock art.
June 20-Come do some collaborative dinosaur LEGO building in the Teen Zone! Our theme for Summer Reading 2026 is Unearth a Story! Keep track of your reading goals and attend exciting events all summer long!
June 29- Come eat some delicious s'mores dip and celebrate America 250!
These events will take place at the RPLF Teen Zone at the RPL Main Library.
