Macktown Living History is hosting a Public Dig Day at the Macktown Forest Preserve! In
partnership with McHenry County College, this public dig during an official field school gives you
the rare opportunity to excavate an actual prehistoric site.
Learn the archaeological process and discover the stories of the people who called Macktown
home for over 8,000 years!
