Details:
The History Center Summer Camp is an interactive educational day camp designed to introduce students to everyday life in the 19th century through hands-on learning experiences. All activities are led by experienced staff in a safe, supportive environment and are tailored to each age group.
Daily program includes:
- 1800s farmstead chores (e.g. grinding corn to feed the chickens)
- A lesson in a one-room schoolhouse
- Fun arts and crafts projects
Additional activities include:
- Getting hands dirty with gardening
- 19th century games
- 1860s Baseball
Schedule:
- Ages 6–10: 9:30 am – 11:30 am
Daily Fee (per student):
- $12 for members
- $15 for non-members
Full Week Fee (per student):
- $50 for members
- $65 for non-members
