Rochester Reads at the History Center of Olmsted County

Join us for Rochester Reads at the History Center of Olmsted County, a family-friendly celebration of local authors, vendors, artisans, and food trucks! This exciting event, hosted in partnership with Ashley Independent House, invites guests of all ages to enjoy a day filled with literary activities. The Book Fair runs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, featuring a children’s story hour with local authors in the historic schoolhouse at 10:00 AM (free!). Engage in creative fun with Junk Journaling sessions, available for adults and children at various times throughout the day, for a small fee. Participants can also purchase a $5 event passport to receive discounts from vendors and enter a prize drawing by visiting each booth. Refreshments will be available from local food trucks, including Sinner Soda and 75th & 3rd. Admission is free, and the event is sponsored by local organizations like Garden Party Books, Griot Arts, The Amethyst Yogi, and Hey Darling. Come celebrate the joy of reading and support your community!
