Details:
MFPL will host Martha Washington for a Quill & Ink Stories Event!
Mrs. Washington, portrayed by Sandy Spector, will be in full colonial dress for our living history program. During this 18th century experience, Martha will introduce the use of the quill & ink and relay stories from her life.
Participants will get the chance to write their own stories using the materials provided, share them with the group, and then take home a quill and some ink! Come prepared with a short piece of text to practice your skills.
This event is free and open to ages 16 and up.
