4th of July Celebration at Vinton War Memorial

Celebrate Independence Day in Vinton!
Join the Town of Vinton for our annual Fourth of July Celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the Vinton War Memorial! This year’s celebration is part of America’s Block Party, a nationwide initiative commemorating the 250th birthday of the United States.
This FREE community event is packed with patriotic fun for the whole family, including:

Music from DJ FLEX

A spectacular fireworks show at 9:30PM

A patriotic program beginning at 6:30 PM

Lawn seating under the summer sky

Local food vendors
Festivities begin at 6:00 PM, so grab your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of community celebration, patriotic spirit, and summertime fun in Vinton!
Please note:
• No pets, alcohol, firecrackers, or similar items permitted
• Parking will not be available at the Vinton War Memorial due to fireworks safety requirements
• Downtown Vinton parking will be available
Start your holiday with the Boys & Girls Club Four on the 4th Race happening earlier that morning! With both events taking place, road closures are expected throughout the day. A full list of closures will be shared soon. bgcswva.org/annual-events/four-on-the-4th/
