Details:
Happy HeARTs Community Sessions for Ages 10 and Under is a program at the Taubman designed for individuals and families with varied abilities, including those who are blind or have low vision, deaf or hard of hearing, neurodiverse, or living with intellectual, developmental, and emotional challenges. Participants can explore the galleries and engage in accessible, sensory-friendly art activities in a welcoming environment tailored for families of all abilities. This initiative provides a safe space for children and adults, whether they seek a calm area to decompress from sensory overload or a place to unleash their creativity. The sessions are free, but registration is encouraged. Happy HeARTs is supported by funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
