The Roanoke County Sheriffs Office offers a free Ident-A-Kid program to help parents keep children safe and quickly provide vital information to law enforcement if a child is ever lost or separated. What you get: Deputies create a wallet-sized identification card for your child. Included details: The card features a photograph, physical descriptors (height, weight, eye/hair color) , emergency contacts, and medical information such as allergies. Requirements: Your child must be present to have their photo and basic identifying information recorded.
