Teens ages 13–17 are invited to explore the history of voting rights through a dynamic civic program. The Suffrage Timeline brings history to life by immersing participants in the struggles and triumphs of the fight for the right to vote — from the founding of the nation to today's ongoing efforts to secure voting rights. Each participant will take on the role of an assigned "avatar," experiencing firsthand the challenges faced by those who fought. This engaging program is perfect for young people and their families who want to better understand civic history and the importance of participation in democracy.
