Details:
A four-week, beginner-friendly improv comedy workshop designed for adults.
This series focuses on the fundamentals of improv comedy, including listening, character work, and long-form scene-building.
No experience is required, and there is no final showcase or homework. By the end of the four weeks, you’ll have a strong foundation in the basics of improv comedy (including scene and character building) and feel more comfortable speaking up, thinking on your feet, and trusting yourself in social and professional situations — all without ever feeling like you’re “performing.”
Light refreshments will be provided.
The workshop is led by Nick Carrillo, an experienced improv performer and instructor who has studied and performed throughout New York City. His background spans improv, sketch, and theatre, with credits including Off-Broadway performance in Puffs; Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic, television appearances on NBC, VH1, Comedy Central, truTV, and digital work with Marvel. He has also performed improv alongside Goosebumps author R.L. Stine!
The workshop is capped at 15 participants to maintain a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
Fee: $275
