The Rio Linda/Elverta Historical Society is committed to preserving the rich heritage of our areas, fostering public awareness of local history, and restoring significant landmarks like the Dry Creek Ranch House and the historic Fire Truck No. 7. We envision establishing a museum to showcase artifacts and stories of early settlers, enriched by donations and volunteer efforts from our community. Additionally, we maintain the picturesque Pioneer Memorial Rose Garden, an ideal setting for weddings and special events, enhancing our mission of community collaboration and historical appreciation.
