Hiking Club: History Underfoot

Step back in time this summer with the 3rd annual Hiking Club brought to you by your Garfield County Libraries! Join us for one (or all) of four hikes around Garfield County on one Saturday each month from June through September. You’ll learn about local history underfoot, hiking basics, and meet other area hikers. The first hike will be on the Rifle Gap Trails on June 13. The second hike will be on the Babbish Trail at Sunlight Mountain Resort on July 11. The third hike will be at Sutey Ranch outside Carbondale on August 8. The final hike will be on Talbott’s Burning Mountain Trail in New Castle on September 12. Registration is required, and more information about each 8 a.m. hike will be provided to everyone upon sign up. These hikes are free and exclusively for adults.
