Bones in Our Backyard: Exploring NJ's Fossil Record

Explore New Jersey's 500-million-year fossil record! The presentation, led by Dr. Dana Ehret, Curator of the Natural History for the New Jersey State Museum, will highlight the Bone Wars (a famous feud between paleontologists), our NJ state dinosaur (the Hadrosaurus foulkii), and the various organisms that once lived in our state - with both casts and real fossils from the Museum' collection!

Recommended for ages 6-12, youngest with a caregiver. Sponsored by the Friends of the West Windsor Library.

Registration is required. Walk-ins are welcome, space-permitting. We recommend that you arrive 5 minutes before the program starts. We appreciate your cooperation so we may offer a smoother flow of activities to the entire group.
