Federal Resume Writing Workshop

Join us at the Military & Family Readiness Center, located in Bldg. 3435 on Broidy Rd., JBMDL McGuire, for two informative workshops designed to support your career and family needs.

First, our **Federal Resume Writing Workshop** on the same day from 9:00am to 12:00pm will provide invaluable insights into the federal hiring process, including how to create a compelling federal resume. Participants will learn how to navigate USAJOBS and understand the key distinctions between civilian and federal resumes. Each attendee will receive a copy of Kathryn Troutman's “10 Steps to a Federal Job.” This workshop is free and open to job seekers interested in federal employment opportunities. Additionally, the **Bundles for Babies/Birth of First Child** workshop, also held from 9:00am to 12:00pm, focuses on financial readiness for new and expecting parents. Attendees will gain budgeting skills, explore available resources, and learn about programs to help prepare for a new baby. Qualifying participants will receive a “Baby Bundle Gift.” This workshop serves as a mandatory financial touchpoint for those expecting their first child and is free for all military branches.
