The Try It! Group Wheel Lesson is a 90-minute class designed for adults ages 16 and up.
This class will go over the basics of wheel throwing and working with clay.
Main topics include wedging (preparing your clay), centering, opening, and technique.
The class may be taken once or multiple times for continued practice.
Participants who create a finished piece will choose a glaze color and the pieces will be glazed and fired by Dragonfly Pottery and available for pickup within 3 weeks.
All materials are included. Please wear clothing that is suitable for getting messy. Aprons are available for use.
No prior experience required.
This class also fulfills the prerequisite for studio membership for those interested.
