Join Conservatory Horticulturist Clare Reines for "Tropical Landscapes Under Glass," an in-depth class exploring the recreation of tropical rainforest ecosystems within the Conservatory. Participants will learn about the structure, diversity, and carefully managed environmental factors of tropical environments, alongside Clare's design process for the Tropical Wing and maintenance strategies for tropical plants. The session will conclude with a guided tour highlighting key adaptations and growth habits of tropical plants. Attendees will also take home their own potted tropical plant. Fees are $52 for members and $65 for non-members. Pre-registration through the website is required, and all programs are subject to change.
