Norman Rockwell's Stockbridge Walking Tour

Join the Norman Rockwell's Stockbridge Walking Tour, offered at 10 am and 3 pm for $20 (separate from Museum admission). This guided tour departs from Main Street, with no transportation provided from the Museum. Explore the history of the 1734 village of Stockbridge, including its Mohican origins, and discover how the town inspired Rockwell's iconic artworks. Key stops include Rockwell's home, his first studio, the Old Corner House (original site of the Museum), the Red Lion Inn, and more. With limited capacity and a maximum group size of 24, advance reservations are required. The tour proceeds rain or shine, and participants should meet in front of The Old Corner House at 48 Main Street, where public parking is available. The tour route is mostly flat and on sidewalks.
