Join the Norman Rockwell's Stockbridge Walking Tour, offered at 10 am and 3 pm for $20 (separate from Museum admission). These guided tours, not held at the Museum, start on Main Street, with no transportation provided from the Museum. Experience the charm of downtown Stockbridge and learn how the town and its residents inspired Rockwell and featured in his iconic artwork. The tour will explore the history of this quaint village, founded in 1734, including its Mohican roots. Notable stops include Rockwell's home, his first studio, the Old Corner House (the original site of the Museum), Chief John Konkapot’s property, the Red Lion Inn, and the historic site of Alice’s Restaurant. With limited capacity, advance reservations are required, and the event will occur rain or shine. Meeting point is in front of The Old Corner House, 48 Main Street, with public street parking available. The tour route is mostly flat and on sidewalks, accommodating up to 24 participants.
