Details:
Join the Norman Rockwell's Stockbridge Walking Tour for a guided exploration of downtown Stockbridge at 10 am or 3 pm for $20 (separate from Museum Admission). These tours, limited to 24 participants, do not commence at the Museum; instead, groups will meet at The Old Corner House, 48 Main Street, where public parking is available. Experience the charm of this historic 1734 village, including its Mohican origins, and discover the inspirations behind Rockwell's iconic artwork. Highlights of the tour include visits to Rockwell’s home on South Street, his first studio on Main Street, Chief John Konkapot’s property, the Red Lion Inn, and the former site of Alice’s Restaurant. Advance reservations are required, and the event will take place rain or shine. Note: Transportation from the Museum to Main Street is not provided. The tour route is mostly flat and situated on sidewalks.
