Yang-style Tai Chi is an internal form of martial arts consisting of 100+ moves done slowly and intentionally. Qi Gong is a related form that doesn't require learning the entire sequence and can be practiced anywhere and at any time. Physical but not strenuous, Qi Gong supports both physical and mental health.
Instructor Victoria Mitchell Taylor is originally from California, where she studied tai chi with Grandmaster Tung Kai Ying for a decade before moving to Meigs County, Ohio in the early '90s. She's been teaching tai chi at the Athens Community Center since 2001.
