The Baltimore County Public Library (BCPL) is a public library system serving Baltimore County, Maryland, established in 1948. Its mission is to provide opportunities for individuals to explore, learn, create, and connect, fostering an engaged and inclusive community. BCPL operates 19 branches and 4 bookmobiles, offering a wide array of services. These include access to a diverse collection of print and non-print materials such as books, CDs, DVDs, and video games, as well as extensive online research databases, downloadable audiobooks, and ebooks. All branches provide public computer access and Wi-Fi, alongside free programs and activities for all age groups.
