Details:
In association with Bikemore and the Chesapeake Bay Trust, the Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps member Cora Karim is hosting a live reading for her capstone project and literary magazine named "Thanatapathy," a play on the Greek God of Death, Thanatos, and the term 'apathy.'
Several Baltimoreans as well as other artists around the country are having their prose, poetry, and art published in the magazine that focuses on how car dependency, private transportation, and single-occupancy vehicle use has affected climate change, objectively damaged the environment in our city and green spaces, and created an ultimate separation from communities by disastrous constructions of highways, freeways, and wide roads which destroy black and brown neighborhoods, forests, and our health overall.
Join us on this informal reading with Bikemore's very own, with an open reading at the end for anyone who'd like to share their own work! See you there!
