Spelling Bee

Come witness feats of spelling or register to be a speller today! We're looking for at least 10 spellers to compete in this themed spelling bee for those entering grades 4-8 (approx. ages 9-13). The theme? Bees, of course! We'll mix in some words related to pollinators, plants, nature, gardens, and farms, to go along with our summer slogan, “Plant a seed, read!” If you like, help carry this bee-theme through by wearing your favorite stripes, flowers, and wings. The winning speller will receive a gift card to An Unlikely Story Bookstore & Cafe!
Registration is for spellers only; audience members do not need to register. If we don't reach the 10-speller minimum by Monday, July 20 at 4:00pm, we'll cancel and try again in the autumn.
