Mercado La Paloma

Mercado La Paloma is a vibrant cultural hub and community revitalization project in South Los Angeles, operating as a project of Esperanza Community Housing Corporation. It transformed a former garment factory into a 35,000 sq. ft. mixed-use space that provides affordable retail opportunities, technical assistance, and support to create business ownership and living wage jobs. The Mercado serves as a gathering space, hosting community events, art exhibits, and performances, while also offering space for nonprofit offices and community services. It aims to build local economies, foster community connections, and promote arts and culture, offering a diverse range of culinary delights and showcasing local creativity to the broader Los Angeles community.
