H.E.L.P. is proud to bring NCOA’s Powering Possibilities: SkillsBuild for Older Adults program to the Lomita CARES Coffee, Crafts, and Chat club.
This free program helps older adults build confidence and practical
technology skills that can be used every day.
Bring your laptop, tablet or smart phone to get started with the SkillsBuild training. If possible, it’s best to bring your
laptop or tablet as the larger screen makes it easier to navigate the courses and view the content.
The training session will begin with an introduction to the program, followed by a step-by-step walkthrough of how to create an account. Once everyone is signed in, we'll complete one or two of the short courses together, each taking about 5–10 minutes.
