Details:
Join us for a month of family-friendly creativity at the STEAM Saturdays: Dino-Topia event, taking place every Saturday in September at the Museum's STEAM Lab! Designed for young learners and their families, these engaging hands-on activities will allow children to explore the fascinating world of dinosaurs through playful crafts. Kids can create their own dino egg puppet, construct dinosaur bones with matchsticks, investigate trace fossils, and design a colorful dinosaur collage using cardboard pieces. These age-appropriate activities not only spark curiosity about paleontology and prehistoric life but also promote early learning through play and creativity.
In addition, don’t miss the special Second Saturdays event at the Victor Valley Museum, where children can hatch their creativity by making paper dinosaur egg puppets, unveiling their very own prehistoric friends. This relaxed, welcoming experience encourages families to explore science and culture together in meaningful ways.
Admission to the events is affordable, with free access for children under five and museum members. Parking is free, and the museum is accessible to persons with disabilities. Join us for a month of learning, discovery, and fun—explore Dino-Topia together!
