Center for Community Innovation

130 Park Ave, Raton, NM 87740, USA

The Northeastern New Mexico Educational Foundation, established in 1997, focuses on enhancing higher education access for underserved adults in rural areas. From 1998 to 2008, we facilitated numerous degrees, and after transferring our facility to Highlands University, we've returned as the Center for Community Innovation. Our mission is to revitalize Raton's economy through community engagement, offering initiatives like the free SkillSharp workforce training, the Coal Camp Kitchen, co-working resources, and educational support, while also promoting local tourism through Explore Raton and The Wild Divide.
