Cars & Stripes Forever, the Port of Los Angeles’ Independence Day kick-off event is coming to Battleship IOWA! Featuring classic cars and motorcycles, food trucks, bands, a beer garden, and fireworks, this family-friendly annual event is a great way to start your celebration of America’s 250th birthday.

Did we mention fireworks? These fireworks are always epic. And since they’ll be launched from the main channel between our stern and the Vincent Thomas Bridge, guess who’s got the best view on the LA Waterfront? That’s right: Battleship IOWA.
Our portside is perfectly aligned for maximum firework fun, so we’re throwing a VIP party on the ship. Join us for:

Cars & Stripes Forever will take place in the lot adjacent to Battleship IOWA. Parking MAY be available in the north end of the lot near the cruise ship terminal. That lot is free for the first hour, then $2.00 for every subsequent hour.
