Join us for the PAC Paws Reading Program at Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center! Looking for a fun and meaningful way to help your child build reading confidence? Our PAC Paws Reading Program gives children the chance to read aloud in a calm, encouraging environment while spending time with our shelter animals. This special program is designed to help young readers practice in a low-pressure, non-judgmental setting, which can make reading feel more comfortable and enjoyable. It’s also a wonderful way to help children build empathy, compassion, and a love for animals. Participants will enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience that supports both literacy and animal welfare. While children practice reading, our animals benefit from the comfort of a gentle human presence and positive interaction. Why families love PAC Paws: Helps build reading confidence Creates a positive and relaxed reading experience Encourages compassion for animals Offers a unique activity for children and families Free to participate Space is limited, and reservations are required, so be sure to sign up early. We would love for you to join us and help us spread the word by inviting a friend or sharing this event with someone who may be interested.
