Tween & Teen Book Bundles

Join us for the Tween & Teen Book Bundles and the Summer Reading Program at the Sherrard Public Library! Registration for the Tween & Teen Book Bundles opens on June 19 at 10:00 AM. This take-home event for ages 10-18 includes a selection of librarian-chosen books and a craft, requiring some supplies from home like scissors and glue. Participants must pick up their bundles from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on the event day, and registration can only be held for that specific date. Each teen must have a Sherrard Public Library card and reside in the SPL District to register, with each participant needing to register separately.

Additionally, our Summer Reading Program, which runs from June 8 to July 18, focuses on the theme "Dig, Discover, Read!" This program is open to all ages and encourages participants to prevent the "summer slide" by reading, with opportunities to earn prizes and entries into grand prize drawings through completed reading logs. Pre-registration begins on May 15 at 10:00 AM, with logs available for pick-up on June 8. Like the book bundles, participants must have a SPLD card and reside in the SPL District. Each participant must register with their name, age, and address.
