Details:
Learn about the owls that call the QC area home: how they fit into our local environments and even what they eat.
Owls swallow their prey whole. What they can’t digest, they spit back up, packed into a tight bundle of fur, bones and even feathers.
These “owl pellets” are a handy tool when it comes to identifying the types of prey available in a habitat.
Become a junior ornithologist and discover what’s on these bird’s daily menu by dissecting real owl pellets.
For patrons going into 2nd-8th grade. Registration required.
We strive to make our programs inclusive to all. For accommodation requests, please reach out to youthservicesandprogrammingstaff@davenportlibrary.com.
Note: Fairmount Street is temporarily closed at Hickory Grove Road due to construction. To access the Fairmount Branch, please approach from the south via Central Park Ave.
