We're coloring our world with film in showing the 1985 movie "The Color Purple" (rated PG-13) at the Poca Library in a special after-hours screening on Wednesday, July 16 beginning at 5pm. The historical drama follows the life of Celie, an African American woman growing up in the American South in the early 1900s. Please be aware, this movie portrays scenes of violence and racism. Parental approval is recommended to watch with us.
