Join us for From Market to Mason Jar, a beginner-friendly canning series designed to help you turn fresh farmers market finds into delicious, shelf-stable foods you can enjoy long after the season ends. Led by experienced market vendors Ken and Nancy Willard of Barefoot Cottage Foods, each class combines hands-on learning with practical skills you can confidently use at home.
On July 14, we'll be making flavorful marinated mushrooms while covering the fundamentals of food safety and safe water bath canning. Whether you're new to canning or simply looking for a refresher, you'll leave with greater confidence in the canning process, practical preservation skills, and two jars of marinated mushrooms to take home and enjoy.
