Homemade Old Fashion Candy

Join us on June 23, 2026, at the Collin County Farm Museum for a delightful double-header of homemade sweetness with our "Homemade Old-Fashioned Candy" and "Jams & Preserves" workshops!

In the candy-making session, available at 2 PM or 6 PM for $30, participants will immerse themselves in nostalgic traditions as they create classic treats like Peanut Butter Candy, Butter Mints, and Caramel. No prior experience is needed—just bring your sweet tooth and get ready for a fun, hands-on experience perfect for candy lovers and vintage recipe fans alike.

Following the candy workshop, attendees can learn the art of making rich, flavorful spreads in our Jams & Preserves workshop. This session will guide you through transforming fresh fruit into delicious preserves, giving you the skills to continue crafting at home.
