Join us in downtown Princeton for another evening of First Friday Concerts in the Square, happening every First Friday from May through October in the Grassroots District!
These free evenings are a chance to gather downtown, enjoy live music, shop, dine, and explore the Grassroots District, and spend time together in the heart of the community.

Grab dinner, drinks, or treats from neighborhood spots before the show, during the evening, or after the music wraps

Bring lawn chairs or a picnic blanket and settle in for the music
Concerts take place in The Square and are designed to be easygoing, family-friendly evenings filled with great music and the simple joy of downtown coming alive.
In case of rain or bad weather, concerts move indoors to The Dream Bean.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
After Ours
After Ours is a two-man musical force blending influences that range from modern jazz and grunge to instrumental hip hop and experimental music. Featuring hybrid 7-string guitarist and loop artist Eli Kahn alongside drummer Joe Enright, the duo creates immersive, layered soundscapes that feel both cinematic and completely their own.
Since forming in 2015, After Ours has built a following through dynamic live performances across the Midwest and Southeast, drawing inspiration from jazz fusion, psychedelia, and adventurous experimentation to create a genre-bending live experience.
Taran Trea
Taran Trea is a singer-songwriter based in Durham, North Carolina, originally from nearby Hinton, West Virginia. With an acoustic sound influenced by folk and R&B, Taran’s music is grounded in the belief that art can help open the door to the conversations that matter most.
Don’t miss this special evening featuring two distinct and compelling voices in music, right in the heart of downtown Princeton.
