Sharlot Hall Museum, named after its founder Sharlot Mabridth Hall, a prominent poet and activist, preserves Arizona's rich history. Established from Hall's vision in 1907, the museum includes eleven exhibit buildings, notably the restored Gubernatorial Mansion Museum, which opened in 1928. The museum showcases captivating exhibits, lush gardens, and hosts public events. The new Fred W. Veil Education Center offers lectures and community programs, while living history demonstrations engage visitors. Don't miss the Museum Store in the historic Bashford House and the Research Center across the street, holding a wealth of historical treasures.
