Join Larry for the Tai Chi - 24 Form class, suitable for both beginning and continuing students. This engaging class teaches the 24 movements of the popular Chinese Government-approved Yang style "Simplified Form." Participants will explore Tai Chi philosophy, history, and mindfulness through a series of slow, continuous, relaxed, and focused movements that promote the flow of Chi (energy). This practice combines “moving meditation” with gentle exercise, helping students improve strength, conditioning, coordination, flexibility, and balance. Benefits reported by students include increased energy, reduced stress and pain, enhanced sleep, and an overall sense of well-being. The class fee is $8 for basic members and $15 for non-members.
