Marshall County Unclaimed Property Roadshow

Marshall County is partnering with the Kentucky State Treasury to host an Unclaimed Property Roadshow.

-Thursday, July 30 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

-Marshall County Fiscal Court Room

-More than $1.9 million in unclaimed property is waiting to be claimed by Marshall County residents.

-Unclaimed property can include forgotten bank accounts, uncashed checks, insurance proceeds, utility deposits, stock dividends, and contents from abandoned safe deposit boxes.

-Anyone who has lived or worked in Kentucky.

-Individuals, families, businesses, churches, nonprofits, and local organizations are encouraged to search.

-Treasury staff will be on-site to help people search for unclaimed property.

-If property is found, staff can assist with filing a claim.

-Searches are free, and there is never a fee to file a claim with the Kentucky State Treasury.
