Hub Softball League

The Hub Softball League, specifically the Mass Biotech Softball League, is gearing up for the Adult Softball League for 2026, set to run from May to early August. Open to Lexington residents, businesses, faith groups, and out-of-town teams (subject to availability), the league invites teams to reserve fields for pre-season practices from May 4 to May 10. The regular season begins on May 11 and runs through June 18, with each team playing weekly games, increasing to two games per week starting June 22. Matches will take place Monday through Thursday evenings at various town fields, featuring at least one night game at Center Softball Field. A break is scheduled from June 29 to July 2, leading to a double elimination tournament in August to declare the champion. Teams are required to finalize registration and fees at a league meeting in April 2026, where USA Softball representatives will provide support. Registration costs include a $550 team fee, a $55 USA Softball fee, and a $33 umpire fee per game. Individuals interested in participating can sign up on the Free Agent List.
