Join us at the Nature Center in Hueston Woods for a day of environmental stewardship and outdoor adventure. Participate in sustainability activities such as litter pick-up, tree planting, and invasive species removal, while fostering a connection with nature. After our stewardship efforts, learn the basics of kayaking and enjoy a guided excursion on Acton Lake. Space is limited, and sign-up begins at 9 am on the day of the event. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please note that participation in recreational programs can involve inherent risks, and ODNR and its naturalist educators are not responsible for any injuries or property damage that may occur.
