Downtown Eaton is inviting the community to continue celebrating America’s 250th birthday following the Preble County July 4th Parade with an afternoon of old-fashioned family fun in the heart of downtown.
The first-ever Downtown Eaton Community Cookout and Old Fashioned Hot Dog & Pie Eating Contest will take place Saturday, July 4, from noon to 3 p.m. and will feature eating contests, vendors, games, food and patriotic festivities for all ages. Plus, live music from The Flannels!
Community members interested in competing in the hot dog and pie eating contests can now register online. The $35 registration fee includes a commemorative T-shirt and cup for participants. Winner will receive a custom award and bragging rights! ($35 for either hot dog or pie eating/$50 for both. Pie will be apple.)
