The Beekman Library's mission is to provide town residents with library materials and services that cater to their needs for lifelong learning, literacy, enrichment, and pleasure. The library aims to be relevant to all residents and contribute to the sense of community in Beekman. It offers a wide range of resources including books, large-print books, audiobooks, DVDs, music CDs, and magazines, as well as downloadable content. Additional services include free WiFi, public computers with internet access, home delivery for homebound patrons, reader's advisory, art exhibits, computer training, a local history section, and fax/copy services. The library also engages in community outreach and offers programs for adults, teens, and children, including volunteer opportunities and a teen program focused on leadership and job readiness.
