The Wiggin Memorial Library is the public library serving Stratham, New Hampshire. Its mission is to inspire readers, enrich lives, and create community. The library offers a wide range of resources and services, including books, digital media, museum passes, and programming for all ages. These programs include story times, book groups, and tech help. The library also provides access to computers, printing, and download/streaming services like Libby and Hoopla. Historically, the library dates back to 1793 with the founding of a social library, evolving into a formal public institution in 1891. The current building, located at 10 Bunker Hill Avenue, was established through a philanthropic bequest and continues to serve as a vital community hub, honoring its legacy of public service. The library was a finalist for the National Medal for Museum and Library Service in 2018.
