Intro to Sewing

Join us for the "Intro to Sewing," a beginner-friendly class where you'll learn the fundamentals of sewing! This hands-on workshop, led by instructor David Leong, will equip you with skills to operate a Brother Innov-is NS80e sewing machine, prepare fabric, cut patterns, and handle materials effectively. Throughout the class, you'll gain tips and techniques to make sewing enjoyable and will create a drawstring pouch from start to finish. The pouch project includes cutting fabric, sewing with a straight stitch, securing it with a lock stitch, and finishing edges using an overlock stitch. By the end, you'll leave with your very own completed pouch! Registration closes two days before the event, and attendees can receive refunds up to seven days prior.
