**Event: Intro to Auto Repair**
Join us for a hands-on course designed to teach you the essentials of maintaining and repairing your vehicle, regardless of your experience level. While no prior knowledge is required, a basic understanding of auto anatomy is beneficial (you might want to consider our Auto Literacy for Life class first). Throughout the session, you will learn how to confidently research, plan, and perform common maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
The course also includes training on the makerspace's auto lift, which will qualify you for member access. The instructor, Lam, advises wearing clothes suitable for getting dirty and closed or reinforced-toed shoes, as the auto bay is not heated—so please dress warmly and remember to bring your vehicle's owner's manual.
Registration closes two days before the event, and participants can receive refunds up to seven days prior to the start date. Active members can take advantage of a 15% discount on the class list price using the code: MEMBER.
