**Event: Intro to Auto Repair**
Join us for a hands-on course that teaches you the essentials of maintaining and repairing your own vehicle. This session is designed for all levels; no prior experience is required, although a basic understanding of auto anatomy is beneficial (consider taking our Auto Literacy for Life class first if needed). Throughout the course, you'll learn to confidently research, plan, and execute common vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
You will also receive training on the makerspace's auto lift, allowing you to use it as a member. The instructor, Lam, recommends wearing clothes suitable for getting dirty and closed or reinforced-toed shoes. As the auto bay is not heated, please dress warmly and bring your vehicle's owner's manual.
Registration closes two days before the event, and refunds are available up to seven days prior to the start date. Active members can enjoy a 15% discount off the class list price with the code: MEMBER.
