Intro to 3D Printing

Join us for an "Intro to 3D Printing," a hands-on class designed to help you transform digital ideas into real, physical objects using the Makerspace’s 3D printers. This course provides an overview of the entire 3D printing workflow, including creating a 3D model and preparing files for printing. Participants will learn to use modeling software options such as TinkerCAD for beginners and Fusion 360 for advanced designs. The class will also cover operating the 3D printers and include a dedicated Q&A session for project ideas and troubleshooting tips. Instructor Rob Speed will guide you through the essentials, building your confidence to start 3D printing at the Makerspace. Familiarity with chosen software prior to the class is encouraged.
